Master's Plan

Elder Sean D. Smith

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

- Jeremiah 29:11, NIV

There’s your way and then there’s God’s way, but only one those ways will prevail. Understand that deep within your heart are desires, and while there is nothing wrong with having desires, the “who”, “what”, “when”, “where”, and “why” of said “desires” is of the utmost importance. Know that while all of God’s people make plans for today and the future, only the “master’s” plan prevails in the end - Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21, NIV). So knowing this is the outcome of all things: that all flesh is destined to perish, and that God’s plan supersedes all fleshly desires…why aren’t you aligning your designs with the master (Master’s) plan - There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death (Proverbs 14:12, NKJV)? God has a plan for you, and while He strongly encourages you down His path of righteousness He will never force you to venture down it. Now acknowledging all of this, place your trust in the assurance of His promises [Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones (Proverbs 3:5-8, NKJV)] believing until the end that He not only says what He means, but means what He says - God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good (Numbers 23:19, NKJV).

BE BLESSED!
