But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
- 1 Samuel 16:7, NKJV
God knows your resume long before you hand Him your application. So stop telling Him what you are/aren’t qualified to do. God isn’t looking for the perfect person who can say, “I did it”; rather, looking for the one who’s heart is inclined to say “yes” and “amen” to God’s will…allowing His glory to shine through. God is the master chess player, positioning the seemingly insignificant and irrelevant in the most strategic positions for His Kingdom’s benefit at the appointed time. Know that when He calls you to action that it’s not about you, but about the overall benefit to His Kingdom and His people. So perhaps it’s time to relook that resume, and instead of hesitating when it comes to applying for the challenging positions, you walk in boldness and confidence knowing that you already have been endorsed by the definitive source, God
- Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me” (Isaiah 6:8, NKJV).
BE BLESSED!
